A New Year is the perfect time to embrace a new, life-changing challenge.

We’re on the hunt for ordinary people who want or have the skills to help older children in Somerset in 2016 as their Foster Carer.

We urgently seek caring, enthusiastic individuals to come forward who are interested in becoming foster carers within their local communities – predominantly for children over the age of 10, teenagers, and siblings.

We know it can take a long time before you feel ready to make the first step towards fostering.

Which is why on Monday 11 January, we will be offering anyone over the age of 21, who has a spare room, in Somerset, the chance to see us for a personal and confidential, one-to-one 30 minute chat in Bridgwater about fostering.

These slots will be for anyone who are interested in finding out more about fostering a child over the age of 10, helping a teenager, or brothers and sisters.

The FREE, bookable slots are available between 9am and 4pm on 11 January. They will be with one of our friendly and professional Fostering Recruitment Officers, who will be able to answer any questions you have, and see whether you can take the next step, now or in the future.

To book your New Year slot, phone the Fostering and Adoption Recruitment line on 0800 587 9900. The meetings will be held in a confidential room at Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 3AR.
