Come along to our relaxed 'Cuppa with a Foster Carer' event and learn all you need to know by chatting to local carers over a coffee and slice of cake (provided free of charge by us).

These informal sessions are a fantastic opportunity to gain a realistic insight into the challenges and rewards of the role by talking to Somerset carers, and our friendly team will also be happy to talk and answer any questions you might have, from application and assessment to training, support and payments.

There is no pressure and no commitment to take your interest any further - this is just a relaxed opportunity to learn more, and you're very welcome to bring along a friend or family member along too.
