Foster child wins Somerset Youth Award

Well done to one of our very own foster child, Brandon from Frome, who has won an award at the Pride of Somerset Youth Awards 2019. Brandon’s whole family, especially his foster carers Dave and Paula and school are so proud of him.

In between army cadets and playing the bugle in band parades, Brandon volunteers in a number of community projects. He works very hard grounds-keeping for a local playground and helping at events to support other Somerset children in care.

He also regularly helps to prepare and serve lunches at his school.

Brandon and his brother Josh have been fostered by Dave and Paula Cowler for nearly 8 years and they have thrived under their love, care and dedication. Dave and Paula are proud advocates of their boys and have given them a stable, nurturing home. They help them through any challenges and support them so that they can reach their potential.
