Fostering Service Update

There have recently been some exciting developments within our fostering service, to ensure that children continue to be at the heart of everything we do.

We realise there have been changes to culture, society and the way we work over time, and recognise the need for our service to reflect and react to those changes in order to provide the best possible care and support for our children and families.  Through increasing capacity within our teams, further building internal and external relationships, and exploring opportunities to grow and improve, we believe we are now in a fantastic position to actively move the service forward as a team, alongside our colleagues in children’s social care, education and other service areas.

There will be further developments over the coming weeks and months as we work with our teams, professional partners and foster carers to collaborate and evaluate how we can collectively work more closely together and develop our future together.

We are very much looking ahead to an innovative and exciting future in our fostering service.
