Well done to our Christmas Card Winners
Well done to all our Fostering Christmas Card competition winners
So many amazing entries and some beautiful Christmas cards – the children put great thought into how we can help their friends and classmates who need foster carers to look after them.
It was a really tough choice but here are the winners:
Phoebe Hilyer aged 7 from Eastover Primary School Under 12’s and overall winner
Brooklyn Thomas aged 13 from Selworthy Special School winner of the over 12s.
Special class award for the Pink Class of Selworthy School, who made a card from all their handprints
Runner up goes to 9 year old Kate Hatt from Hambridge Primary School
Thank you to all the schools who took part and sent it many beautiful Christmas cards! It was heart warming to see how much children care about others and want to help.
There are now over 500 children in care in Somerset, many of whom will have experienced a ‘not so’ happy Christmas. If you apply now, you could be ready by next year to make their lives so much better.
