Take part in dental research
Children in care and care leavers experience significant oral health inequalities which can have a lifetime impact on their oral health. A team from Plymouth University are carrying out a research project looking at the factors influencing the oral health and access to dental care of care experienced children and young people in England. They aim to identify what actions they can take to improve the situation.
It’s important to hear all perspectives, so given your unique role, they are very keen in finding out foster carers’ views on and experiences of supporting children and young people to care for their teeth and access dental care.
If you are a foster carer they would like to invite you to take part in their project. Taking part involves a 30-45 minute interview online or by phone with a researcher.
As a thank you for your participation you will receive a £15 Love2Shop voucher.
